***** JASJIT SINGH BEDI, J. (Oral) The petitioner seeks grant of regular bail under Section 439 Cr.P.C in case bearing FIR No.0052 dated 29.05.2021, registered under Sections 147, 148, 149, 323, 324, 325, 326, 506 and 427 IPC, at Police Station IT Park, Chandigarh.

The learned counsel for the petitioner states that no specific injury has been attributed to the petitioner and the injury attracting to Section 326 has been attributed to Ajay co-accused with the sword on the hands of Krishan. He further states that one Raman from the side of the petitioner-accused has received some injuries which are unexplained and therefore, it is a case of version and cross-version. The learned State Counsel fairly concedes that the petitioner is in custody since 23.11.2021 and the challan has already been presented on 19.01.2022. Twenty four prosecution witnesses are to be examined. The further incarceration of the petitioner is, thus, not required. appropriate to allow regular bail to the petitioner. In view of above, petition is allowed. Petitioner is ordered to be released on bail, subject to his furnishing adequate bail bonds/surety bonds to the satisfaction of the trial Court/concerned Duty Magistrate.
