(Oral) The present second petition has been filed under Section 483 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 for grant of regular bail to the petitioner in case bearing FIR No.30 dated 28.04.2024 registered under Section 20 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985 at Police Station Kiratpur Sahib, District Ropar. 2.
Briefly stated, the facts of the present case are that on 28.04.2024, while the police party was on patrol duty, they noticed a woman coming from the side of Radha Swami Satsang site at about 2:30 A.M. She was carrying a light yellow plastic bag on her right shoulder. On noticing the police party, she threw the plastic bag on the road and attempted to turn back. She was apprehended with the assistance of Lady Constable Jashanpreet Kaur No. 1075/R. Upon inquiry, she disclosed her name as Dalip Kaur @ Daleepo (petitioner herein), wife of Late Chadia, resident of Dana Mandi, Bhartgarh. Upon checking the light yellow coloured bag thrown on the ground, 15 kilograms of Ganja was recovered, whereupon she was taken into custody. 210 CRM-M-12003-2026(O&M) of 18 kilograms and 200 grams of Ganja was effected pursuant to the disclosure statement of the petitioner.

There is no representation on behalf of the petitioner, however, learned State Counsel informs that the entire prosecution evidence has already been concluded in the present case.

Taking into consideration the stage of the trial, the present petition is dismissed at this stage.
