*** VIKRAM AGGARWAL, J (ORAL) The instant contempt petition alleges disobedience of order dated 21.07.2025 (Annexure P-1) passed in CWP-20468-2025; "4.

In view of the above and without commenting upon the merits of the case, the petition is hereby disposed of with a direction to the respondents to consider and decide the representation dated 01.07.2025, Annexure P-3, taking note of the afore-referred judgment within a period of 4 months, which this Court has no reason to believe the authorities would not address in a just, fair and reasonable manner. Upon doing so, after notice and hearing offered to him and if found entitled, grant the benefit forthwith. Needless to say, if the orders are adverse to his interest, the same shall contain reasons and the petitioner shall be free to seek legal redress thereupon."

Learned counsel representing the State of Punjab submits that in compliance of the directions issued vide order dated 21.07.2025 (ibid), speaking order dated 25.04.2026 has been passed and the claim of the petitioner has been rejected.

That being so, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he does not press the present contempt petition and that the petitioner shall, if so VIKAS CHANDER 2026.05.01 15.07 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document
