(Oral) Petitioner has preferred this writ petition for the issuance of an appropriate writ, order or direction especially in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents No.1 to 7 to proceed further with the representation dated 29.01.2022 submitted by the petitioner and report dated 31.01.2022 submitted by the Incharge of Government Adarsh Elementary School, Bathinda against respondents No.8 and 9. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the complaint was filed before the Chief Election Commissioner, Punjab against respondent No.8 who was holding a meeting of workers of a political party in Government Adarsh Elementary School during school hours. The matter was inquired by the JYOTI SHARMA 2022.04.07 16:28 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document
CWP No. 7249 of 2022 -2Incharge, Primary Wing of the school and the allegations were found to be correct. No action has been taken against respondents No.8 and 9 in terms of the Government Employees (Conduct) Rules, 1966.
The representation dated 21.03.2022 filed by the petitioner before respondents No.1 to 7 is still pending. Notice of motion.
On the asking of the Court, Mr. C.L. Pawar, Sr. D.A.G., Punjab accepts notice on behalf of State of Punjab. In view of nature of order which this Court proposes to pass, there is no necessity of calling upon any response from the respondents at this stage, as no order prejudicial to the interest of any party is being passed.
This writ petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.3 to take note of representation dated 21.03.2022 (Annexure P-18) got issued by the petitioner and pass appropriate order in accordance with law, preferably within a period of one month from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.
