Mr. Karan Garg, Advocate for respondents No.6 to 9. ARVIND SINGH SANGWAN J. (Oral) Prayer in this petition is for issuance of directions to respondents No.1 to 5 to provide security to the petitioners for their life and liberty at the hands of respondents No.6 to 14. Reply by way of affidavit of Assistant Commissioner of Police, Panchkula on behalf of respondents No.1, 2 and 4 has been filed and as per this reply, petitioner No.1 was married with respondent No.6 in the year 2006 and they are having three children. Petitioner No.1 left the house of respondent No.6 and started residing with petitioner No.2. It is also stated that statement of petitioner No.1 and petitioner No.2 has been recorded and it is stated that no police security is required as they are apprehending no threat to their life and liberty.

Similarly, statement of respondents No.6 to 8 is also recorded which is also to the same effect. All the statements are attached as Annexures R1 to R5. In view of the above, counsel for the petitioner submits that this petition may be disposed of having been rendered infructuous at this stage.
