And further if the presence of petitioners or their family members is required in the inquiry, prior notice of 7 days under Section 160 Cr.P.C. be given to them.

Learned counsel for the petitioners contends that the purpose would be achieved if respondent No.3-Assistant Inspector General of Police, Ludhiana (Punjab) is directed to look into representation dated 03.03.2019 (Annexure P-1) filed by the petitioners, in a time-bound manner.
