Learned standing counsel for U.T. Chandigarh submits that the official respondents looked into the complaint (Annexure P-6), however, it was found during inquiry that it was essentially a dispute involving monetary transactions between the parties and hence, it was consigned to the records.

In the circumstances, no ground is made out for issuance of directions as prayed for.

The petition stands dismissed.

However, petitioners are at liberty to avail of alternate remedies under law, if they so desire.
