M.M.S. BEDI, J (ORAL) The petitioner is a complainant in an FIR registered at Police Station, Bawa Khel, District Jalandhar titled State Vs. Amarjeet Kaur and others pending in the Court of the Judicial Magistrate First Class, Jalandhar.

A perusal of the interim orders dated 21.12.2013, 31.1.2014, 28.2.2014, 16.4.2014, 28.5.2014, 14.7.2014, 2.8.2014 and 15.5.2014 indicate that on account of arguments having not been addressed on an application for discharge the matter is being adjourned casually by the learned Magistrate. This petition is disposed of with a direction to the learned Magistrate to consider the report under Section 173 (2) Cr.P.C. and take a final decision regarding framing of charges or discharge of the accused as this Court is satisfied that unnecessary adjournments are being granted without any sufficient reason.
