***** Naresh Kumar Sanghi, J. (Oral) Prayer in this petition filed under Section 438 Cr.PC, is for grant of anticipatory bail to petitioner Balbir Kaur, who has been booked for having committed the offence punishable under Sections 406 and 420 IPC in a case arising out of FIR No.126 dated 26.05.2013 registered at Police Station Division No.7, Jalandhar. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the husband of the petitioner alleged to have received money from the informant-Harish Chander for sending his son and nephew to foreign countries; the petitioner has been arrayed as an accused just to widen the array of accused and to put pressure on her husband so that compromise can be effected. It has also been pointed out that the informant has resolved his dispute with one Amritpal, who was also involved in the said dealing.

CRM-M No.21473 of 2014 (O&M) -2during investigation the petitioner had appeared before the inquiry officer and admitted that she received the amount from the aggrieved persons. The receipt issued by her in respect of money was also produced by the aggrieved persons, which is available on record. The husband of the petitioner has also been declared as Proclaimed Offender and as such the prayer for grant of anticipatory bail be declined.

I have heard learned counsel for the parties and with their able assistance gone through the material available on record. There are serious allegations against the petitioner that she along with her husband had received Rs.26 lacs from the informant on the pretext of sending his son and nephew to the foreign countries. There is prima facie material to connect the petitioner with the alleged offence. No ground for anticipatory bail is made out. Dismissed.

The observations made hereinabove are for the limited purpose of disposing the present petition.
