Reply by way of affidavit of Deputy Superintendent of Police, Dharamkot, District Moga filed by learned State counsel is taken on record. Learned State counsel on instructions from ASI Bhagwan Singh submits that earlier untrace report was filed, which was returned to police by learned Magistrate with direction to get reinvestigation of the case from an officer of the rank of Superintendent of Police. The investigation is pending and will be concluded shortly and final report will be presented thereafter.
In view of submission of learned State counsel, this petition is disposed of with direction to Senior Superintendent of Police, Moga to expedite investigation of the case and submit final report at the earliest preferably within a period of six months.
