**** JAISHREE THAKUR, J. (ORAL) This is a petition that has been filed under Section 438 Cr.P.C. for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in case FIR No. 33 dated 24.04.2018 under Sections 498-A, 406, 506 IPC, registered at Police Station City-1, Malerkotla, District Sangrur.

This Court was pleased to pass the following order on 24.05.2018 :- "It is submitted that marriage between the complainant and the petitioner was solemnized 7-8 years prior to the registration of the FIR. There are two children born out of this wedlock who are being taken care of by the petitioner. Petitioner, it is submitted has been falsely implicated in this case. He is still ready and willing to resume matrimonial ties with the complainant. On oral request of learned counsel for the petitioner, Samina wife of Muddsar Nazar, resident of Harnama Colony, Amargarh, Sangrur, is impleaded as respondent no.2. Necessary addition be made in memo of parties by the Satyawan 2018.07.19 18:02 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document High Court Chandigarh

Notice of motion for 18.07.2018.

Petitioner and the complainant to remain present in Court on the next date of hearing.

In the meanwhile, petitioner shall appear before the Investigating Officer and shall fully cooperate in the investigation of this case. In the event of his arrest, petitioner be released on interim bail to the satisfaction of Investigating Officer. Petitioner shall comply with the conditions as stipulated in Section 438(2) Cr.P.C."

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has joined the investigation.

Learned counsel for the respondent-State, on instructions from the Investigating Officer, confirms the factum of joining investigation by the petitioner.

Since the petitioner has joined the investigation, the petition is allowed and interim order dated 24.05.2018 is hereby made absolute subject to the condition that the petitioner will not tamper with evidence or hamper the investigation; will not leave India without permission of the Court and will comply with the conditions contained in Section 438(2) Cr.P.C. 18.07.2018 (JAISHREE THAKUR) Satyawan JUDGE Whether speaking/reasoned Yes.
