(Oral) Prayer in this petition is for transfer of investigation in case FIR No.74 dated 17.8.2023 (Annexure P-2), under Section 376 IPC, registered at Police Station Ghagga, District Patiala to outside the jurisdiction of Police Station Ghagga, District Patiala. Learned counsel for the petitioner at this stage limits his prayer and submits that the petitioner would be satisfied if direction is issued to respondent No.2-Senior Superintendent of Police, Patiala, to consider and take a final decision on representation dated 20.2.2024 (Annexure P-3) made by the petitioner in a time bound manner. Notice of motion.

Mr. Kunwarbir Singh, AAG, Punjab accepts notice on behalf of respondent-State and submits that he has no objection in case the prayer made by learned counsel for the petitioner at this stage, is accepted.
