Present petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution, inter-alia, for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to execute the promotion order of the petitioner dated 01.06.2021 (P-2) passed by respondent No.5 with immediate effect. Learned counsel, on instructions from the petitioner, submits that his grievance has been redressed and as such the present petition is rendered infructuous.
