The present petition has been filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India for issuance of writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent Nos.1 to 3 to protect the life and liberty of the petitioner at the hands of respondent Nos.4 to 7 who had attacked the petitioner on 02.02.2025 and caused injuries to her.

After arguing for some time, counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner would be contended and satisfied in case her representation dated 26.02.2025 (Annexure P-2) be decided in a time bound manner 3.

In view of the above limited prayer made and without commenting upon the merits of the case, the respondent No.2-Senior Superintendent of Police, SAS Nagar (Mohali) is directed to decide the representation dated 26.02.2025 (Annexure P-2) within a period of 15 days by passing a speaking order in accordance with law.
