Petitioner has filed this petition under Section 438 Cr.P.C. for grant of anticipatory bail in case FIR No.177 dated 11.09.2018 under Sections 379-B, 120-B and 201 IPC, registered at Police Station Baghapurana, District Moga.

I have heard learned counsel for the petitioner and have gone through the record.

As per the FIR, which was got registered by Gurwinder Singh, complainant, on 10.09.2018, he along with Manjit Singh was going on motorcycle to village Alamwala and Langena to collect installments and after collecting `1,12,060/-, complainant kept the money in bag and carried the same on his shoulder. CRM No.M-12292 of 2019 -2way. One person attacked the complainant with rod, with hit him on his left arm. In the meantime, another person snatched the bag from complainant's shoulder and all of them fled away.

Keeping in view the facts and circumstance of the present case and in view of the serious allegation against the petitioner, who has been nominated in the FIR, I find that petitioner is required for custodial interrogation and no ground is made out for granting benefit of anticipatory bail to him.

Therefore, finding no merit in the present petition, the same is dismissed.
