HARPREET SINGH BRAR J. (Oral) Prayer in this petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C., read with Section 528 of BNSS, 2023, is for issuance of directions to respondents No.1 to 4 to take action against respondent No.5 by registering a criminal case under Section 174-A IPC, read with Section 209 of BNS, 2023 as despite being declared as proclaimed person vide order dated 02.09.2023, the local police has not registered the FIR under Section 174-A IPC. Further prayer has been made to direct respondents No.1 to 4 to immediately arrest respondent No.5 in cross-case i.e. DDR No.36 dated 06.01.2018 (Annexure P-2), under Section 447, 511, 323, 506 IPC at Police Station Shambhu, registered in FIR No.5 dated 08.01.2018, under Sections 341, 323, 506, 148, 149 IPC.

Learned counsel for the petitioner wishes to withdraw the present petition with liberty to approach the jurisdictional Court for redressal of his grievances raised in the present petition in terms of the direction issued by this Court in CRM-M No.55907 of 2023, titled as "Darshan Singh vs State of Punjab", decided on 21.12.2023.
