SURINDER GUPTA, J.(Oral) This petition is for seeking protection of life and liberty of petitioners, who alleged to have married against the wishes of respondents No. 4 to 6, father and other relatives of petitioner No.1. Learned counsel for the petitioners has limited his prayer for taking appropriate action in accordance with law on the representation dated 30.06.2015 (Annexure P-5) made by petitioner No.1. It has been stated that both the petitioners are major. The date of birth of petitioner No.1-Pooja is 08.03.1992 as per copy of PAN Card (Annexure P-1) and that of petitioner No.2-Karnail Singh is 10.10.1988 as per copy of Aadhaar Card (Annexure P-2). They allegedly got married on 30.06.2015. Photographs of marriage are Annexure P-4.

In view of the limited prayer made by the learned counsel for the petitioners, but without expressing any opinion on the validity of marriage of petitioners, this petition is disposed of with direction to SACHIN MEHTA 2015.07.07 12:28 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document Chandigarh

CRM-M-21531-2015 -2respondent No.2-Senior Superintendent of Police, Rupnagar to look into the representation dated 30.06.2015 (Annexure P-5) and take appropriate action in accordance with law, on receipt of certified copy of this order along with representation in his office.
