The petitioner through instant petition under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India is seeking setting aside of letter dated 19.01.2024 (Annexure P-1) whereby certain objections were raised while processing his application.

Ms. Aayushi Sharma, Central Government Counsel for Union of India, who on advance notice is present in Court, submits that petitioner has been issued show cause notice dated 14.03.2024 calling upon to clarify his position with respect to another passport. 3.
Mr. Deepanshu Mehta, Advocate, submits that as per his instructions, earlier passport stands cancelled by passport authority,

In the wake of statement of both sides, the petition stands disposed of with a direction to petitioner to appear before the passport authority on 20.05.2024 alongwith requisite documents and reply to the show cause notice dated 14.03.2024.
