The petitioner has filed a complaint against Dalip Singh u/s 138 of Negotiable Instruments Act.

Counsel for the petitioner submits that pursuant to the notice having been received by Dalip singh, he along with his son Jagnandan has started threatening the petitioner with dire consequences and the petitioner is being pressurized to withdraw the complaint with the intervention of the police.

Notice of motion to AG, Punjab. On the asking of the court, notice has been accepted by Ms. HK Athwal, DAG, Punjab. The petitioner appears to have filed a representation dated 21.6.2016 before SSP Fazilka.

Without expression of any opinion regarding the facts mentioined in the representation, the petition is disposed of with a direction that the matter regarding infringement of right of life and liberty, would be got looked into by SSP Fazilka and in case required, necessary steps be taken.
