SURINDER GUPTA, J.(Oral) This petition is for seeking protection of life and liberty of petitioners, who alleged to have married against the wishes of respondents No.4 and 5, brothers of petitioner No.1.

Learned counsel for the petitioners has limited his prayer for taking appropriate action in accordance with law on the representation dated 02.07.2015 (Annexure P-4) made by petitioner No1. It has been stated that both the petitioners are major. The date of birth of petitioner No.1-Prabhjot Kaur is 01.01.1992 as per copy of Aadhaar Card (Annexure P-1) and that of petitioner No.2-Sukhjeet Singh is 04.07.1994 as per copy of Driving Licence (Annexure P-2). They allegedly got married on 02.07.2015. Photographs of marriage are Annexure P-3. In view of the limited prayer made by the learned counsel for the petitioners, but without expressing any opinion on the validity of marriage of petitioners, this petition is disposed of with direction to SACHIN MEHTA 2015.07.07 12:28 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document Chandigarh

However, it is made clear that this order will have no effect on the validity of alleged marriage of the petitioners or on any other civil or criminal proceedings instituted against them.
