Prayer in this writ petition filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India, is for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus, directing respondent No.2 to decide the statutory appeal dated 05.12.2023 (Annexure P-2) filed by the petitioner against the order of punishment dated 18.10.2023 (Annexure P-1) issued under endorsement No.PWC/EST/E-10/EF-345/21522-28/23 dated 31.10.2023 passed by respondent No.1, vide which punishment of stoppage of two increments with cumulative effect has been imposed upon the petitioner.

Learned counsel for the petitioner prays for deciding the statutory appeal dated 05.12.2023 (Annexure P-2) filed by the petitioner expeditiously by passing a speaking order in a time-bound manner. 3.

I have heard learned counsel for the parties and have gone through the record of the case.

Accordingly, respondent No.2 - Appellate Authority, Punjab State Warehousing Corporation, is directed to decide the statutory appeal dated 05.12.2023 (Annexure P-2) filed by the petitioner, in accordance with law by passing a speaking order as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of 06 months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order and convey the same to the petitioner.

The petition stands disposed of.
