As common issues are involved in the captioned petitions, with the consent of both sides, the same are hereby disposed of by this common order. For the sake of brevity and convenience, facts are borrowed from CWP-6281-2026.

The petitioner through instant petition under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India is seeking direction to respondents to transfer her pension account from Punjab National Bank, model town branch, Pathankot to Canara Bank, Saili Road Branch, Pathankot. The petitioner claims that she is getting pension from the State of Punjab. She has retired from Education Department. She is getting pension through PNB. She is dissatisfied with services of respondent-bank. She has requested respondent to shift her pension account to Canara Bank.

Learned counsel for the respondent during the course of hearing produced communication dated 08.04.2026 received from Bank which is taken on record. Registry is directed to tag the same at an appropriate place.

Learned counsel for the respondent-Bank submits that Bank is not averse to petitioner's request. She is required to follow either online or offline procedure. As per online procedure, she is required to make request to Punjab Pensioner Sewa Portal. The moment request is received by Bank, it would be approved and account would be shifted. As per offline method, she is supposed to submit original PPO with request letter to jurisdictional Treasury Officer for further issuance of PPO and changing Pension Disbursement Authority. 6.
Learned counsel for the petitioner agrees to the aforesaid arrangement.
