(Oral) The petitioners challenged the Sanad issued during the course of partition proceedings by way of a revision petition under Section 16 of the Punjab Land Revenue Act, 1887 (hereinafter referred to as 'the Act'). The petition was dismissed vide order dated 12.01.2012. This order was challenged vide CWP No. 2463 of 2012 but the writ petition was withdrawn vide order dated 01.06.2018 with liberty to avail any other appropriate alternative remedy. Thereafter, the petitioners filed an appeal against the Sanad which was however dismissed vide order dated 30.03.2021. The appellate order was challenged by way of revision under Section 16 of the Act which has been dismissed vide order dated 09.02.2022. The above facts show that the second revision petition filed under Section 16 of the Act was not maintainable as earlier revision petition had already been dismissed vide order dated 12.01.2012. The said order was upheld by this Court as it did not interfere therein. The order dated 09.02.2022, thus, does not call for any interference.
