**** JAISHREE THAKUR, J. (ORAL) The instant petition has been filed for grant of anticipatory bail in case FIR No. 37 dated 14.02.2017 under Sections 363 and 366-A IPC and Section 8 of POCSO Act, registered at Police Station Samrala, District Ludhiana.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner was in friendly relationship with the complainant's niece, who is aged about 16 1⁄2 years and he has been falsely implicated in the present case. She has accompanied the petitioner in a car and she has been recovered on the same day.

Learned State counsel, on instructions from the investigating officer, has informed that out of total 17 witnesses, none has been examined so far.

CRM-M-21632-2017 -2purpose would be served by sending the petitioner behind the bars. The final conclusion of trial will take a long time. In the interest of justice and taking into consideration the totality of the circumstances, I deem it appropriate to direct the petitioner to surrender before the trial Court and seek concession of regular bail. Petition is allowed. It is directed that the petitioner will put in appearance before the trial Court within seven days from today. On doing so, he shall be released on bail on his furnishing bail bonds /surety bonds to the satisfaction of the trial Court. In case, the petitioner opted not to appear before the trial Court pursuant to the order passed by this Court, this petition will be deemed to have been dismissed.
