[1] The matter is taken up for hearing through video conference due to COVID-19 situation.

[2] This petition was filed seeking directions to the official respondents to give fifteen days notice to the petitioner in case an F.I.R. is registered against the petitioner with regard to contract work arising out of bid No. 383 executed on 22nd September, 2014. Further prayer was not to arrest the petitioner without prior notice. [3] On 17th March, 2020, notice of motion was issued and interim protection was granted. It was ordered that "Till such time, the contemplation of lodging of FIR, if any, against the petitioner shall remain in abeyance."

CRM-M-11291-2020 [4] The interim protection granted by this Court was challenged in the Supreme Court by the Uttar Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam Limited by filing an S.L.P., the impugned order was stayed by the Supreme Court.

[5] Normally, this petition should be adjourned awaiting the decision of the Supreme Court. However, the parties are ad idem that F.I.R. No. 4, dated 5th August, 2020 has been registered at Police Station Gandhi Nagar, District Yamuna Nagar and the petitioner was granted anticipatory bail.

[6] In view of above fact, no cause of action survives for pursuing the present petition.

[7] The petition is disposed of as infructuous.
