Prayer is for grant of anticipatory bail in case FIR No.310 dated 13.12.2015 under Sections 420/384 IPC, PS Dakha,Distt.Ludhiana.

As per allegations petitioner accused alongwith her four other co-accused, is involved in a racket of entrapping persons by operating a net of sex related talks and acts and thereafter blackmailing them and extracting hefty amounts of money.

CRM-M 2266/2016(O&M) Learned State counsel on instructions from ASI Chamkaur Singh states that there are complaints against petitioner of similar nature by other complainants as well. It is further stated that arrested co-accused have specifically nominated present petitioner as one of their active accomplices.

Keeping in view the nature and gravity of offence, it is apparent that for an effective investigation custodial interrogation of the petitioner would be required.

Dismissed.
