(ORAL) This petition has been filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. read with Article 21 of the Constitution of India for issuance of directions to respondents No. 4 and 5 not to harass the petitioner and his family members and for issuance of direction to respondents No. 2 and 3 to take legal action against respondents No. 4 and 5 for damaging the crop and house of the petitioner.

In this case, notice of motion was issued on 13.06.2017 and the Senior Superintendent of Police, Mohali was directed to look into the matter and file an affidavit.

Pursuant to the said order, affidavit of Senior Superintendent of Police, District S.A.S. Nagar (Mohali) was filed stating therein that the matter was got enquired by Superintendent of Police (Investigation), SAS Nagar and as per the report dated 10.7.2017 (Annexure R-1/T), son of the petitioner, namely, Bhupinder Singh alias Bhupi is wanted in many criminal GURPREET SINGH 2020.03.06 16:31 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document Chadigarh cases, that he has been declared proclaimed offender in many cases and that

CRM-M No. 21763 of 2017 -2order for attachment of his movable and immovable property has been issued. It has been further stated that in order to arrest Bhupinder Singh alias Bhupi, on 22.5.2017 and 31.5.2017, the police went to the house of Bhupinder Singh. Thereafter on 6.6.2017, on the basis of secret information, the police party also raided the house of the petitioner in order to arrest Bhupinder Singh alias Bhupi.

As the son of the petitioner is evading the process of law, it cannot be said that the visits of the police to the petitioner's house amounts to any kind of harassment.

In view of the above, no further action is called for. The petition is disposed of.
