Having heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and while refraining from making any expression as regards merits of the case or as regards averments made in the petition, the petition is disposed off with a direction to respondent No.2-Police Commissioner, Ludhiana to look into the matter and to ensure that the matter pertaining to FIR No.28 dated 31.1.2022 registered at Police Station Jamalpur, District Police Commissionerate, Ludhiana, under Sections 323, 341 and 34 of Indian Penal Code is got investigated fairly and expeditiously in accordance with law, so that a final report under Section 173 Cr.P.C. is submitted thereafter at the earliest. In case any cross-version is forthcoming, the same shall also be examined during the course of investigation.
