Mr. K.S. Aulakh, Deputy Advocate General, Punjab. ***** JASJIT SINGH BEDI, J. (Oral) Petitioner seeks grant of anticipatory bail under Section 438 Cr.P.C. in case bearing FIR No.13 dated 24.02.2020 under Sections 379 and 34 IPC registered at Police Station Tibber, District Gurdaspur. On March 18, 2020, following order was passed by this Court:- "Notice of motion for 23.07.2020.

Meanwhile, the petitioner shall join the investigation and would come present as and when called for and in the event of arrest, the petitioner shall be admitted to interim bail on his furnishing personal and surety bonds to the satisfaction of Arresting/Investigating Officer. The petitioner shall also abide by the conditions as specified under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C."

Petitioner remains unrepresented today.

However, learned State counsel on instructions from ASI Avtar Singh, submits that the petitioner has joined investigation and the challan has been presented in the case.

In this view of the matter, interim order dated 18.03.2020 is made absolute. However, the petitioner shall keep on joining the investigation as and when required to do so and he shall abide by the conditions as envisaged under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C. Petition stands disposed of.
