This is a petition under Section 438 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in FIR No.35 dated 10.04.2021 under Sections 363, 366-A, 149 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 (Section 376 IPC, Section 6 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012 and Sections 9 & 10 of Prohibition of Child Marriage Restraint Act, 2006 added later on), registered at Police Station Arniwala, District Fazilka.

Learned counsel for the petitioner states that the present petition has been rendered infructuous inasmuch as the petitioner has since been arrested.
