1. Office has informed that although a petition on behalf of petitionerLakhwinder Singh seeking grant of regular bail i.e. CRM-M-12830-2020 already stood filed through Sh. Sandeep Verma, Advocate, but the present petition on behalf of the same petitioner i.e. CRM-M-13159-2020 was also filed through another counsel Sh. Arshdeep Singh Kler.
2. Today at the very outset, Sh. Arshdeep Singh Kler, Advocate has submitted that it was on account of lack of communication that second petition came to be filed and in fact he had filed the bail application on 16.3.2020 i.e. even prior to filing of the petition filed by Sh. Sandeep Verma, Advocate who filed the same on 20.5.2020, but petition filed by him (Arshdeep Singh Kler) could not be listed on account of certain GAURAV SOROT 2020.06.11 14:44 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document
( 2 ) CRM-M-13159-2020 objection having been raised and in the meanwhile subsequently filed petition, filed through another counsel was scrutinized and listed even before the petition filed by Sh. Arshdeep Singh Kler be listed. Learned counsel has however expressed that he shall be more careful in future and has requested that he may be permitted to withdraw the petition i.e. CRMM-13159-2020.
