SURINDER GUPTA, J.(Oral) This petition is for seeking protection of life and liberty of petitioners, who alleged to have married against the wishes of respondents No. 4 to 10, parents and relatives of petitioner No.1. Learned counsel for the petitioners has limited his prayer for taking appropriate action in accordance with law on the representation dated 30.06.2015 (Annexure P-5) made by the petitioners to Senior Superintendent of Police, Tarn Taran. It has been stated that both the petitioners are major. The date of birth of petitioner No.1-Rajandeep Kaur is 15.01.1997 as per copy of Birth Certificate (Annexure P-1) and that of petitioner No.2-Ajay Singh is 05.05.1994 as per copy of Driving Licence (Annexure P-2). They allegedly got married on 30.06.2015. Photographs of marriage are Annexure P-4.

In view of the limited prayer made by the learned counsel for the petitioners, but without expressing any opinion on the validity of SACHIN MEHTA 2015.07.09 17:19 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document Chandigarh

CRM-M-21828-2015 -2marriage of petitioners, this petition is disposed of with direction to respondent No.2-Commissioner of Police, Amritsar to look into the representation dated 30.06.2015 Annexure P-5 (addressed to Senior Superintendent of Police, Tarn Taran) and take appropriate action in accordance with law, on receipt of certified copy of this order along with representation (Annexure P-5) in his office.
