(Oral) This is a petition filed under Section 438 of the Code of Criminal Procedure seeking pre-arrest bail in a case registered against the petitioner vide FIR No.368 dated 07.12.2017 under Section 61 of Punjab Excise Act, 1914, at Police Station Talwandi Sabo, District Bathinda. Learned counsel for the State submits that pursuant to order dated January 22, 2018, petitioner has joined investigation and is no longer required for custodial interrogation.

In view of the above, order dated January 22, 2018, is hereby made absolute subject to the conditions envisaged under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C.
