-- ANITA CHAUDHRY, J. (ORAL) The petition has been filed by the petitioners seeking directions to official respondents to give police protection. An FIR has been registered against petitioner No. 1. He has not applied for anticipatory bail. A representation has been given by petitioner No. 2. She fears threat to her life and liberty. Without entering upon an exercise to evaluate the evidentiary value of the documents placed on the file, I dispose of the petition with directions to respondent No. 2 to look into the representation (Annexure P-4) and take necessary steps to secure her life and liberty. It is made clear that this order shall not be taken to protect the petitioners from legal action for violation of law if any committed by them.
