(Oral) Prayer in the present petition filed under Section 482 CrPC is for quashing of FIR No.366 dated 12.10.2017 under Sections 406 and 498-A IPC registered at Police Station Phillaur, Police Distt. Jalandhar Rural, District Jalandhar, Punjab (Annexure P/1) and all consequential proceedings arising therefrom.

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that compromise quashing(s) (i.e. CRM-M Nos.33966 & 33967 of 2023) in respect of the said FIR have been filed before this Court, which are pending adjudication and therefore, he may be permitted to withdraw the present petition.

Learned State counsel does not oppose the same. Accordingly, in view of the statement of learned counsel for the petitioner, the instant petition is dismissed as withdrawn. (Nidhi Gupta) 22.04.2024 Judge 'Amit'
