(ORAL) It is submitted that the order dated 07.02.2017 declaring the petitioner as a proclaimed person has ceased to exist as the petitioner has surrendered before the trial Court and has been granted regular bail. Thus, continuing with the FIR No.583, dated 01.10.2021, registered at Civil Lines, Karnal, under Section 174-A would be unjust.

Learned State counsel concedes that vide order dated 11.05.2023 passed in CRM-M-9768-2023 challenging the declaration of the petitioner as a proclaimed person has been disposed of as he has been granted regular bail by the trial Court concerned. 3.

Since, the petitioner is no longer proclaimed person, continuation with the FIR No.583, dated 01.10.2021, registered at Civil Lines, Karnal, under Section 174-A would be unjust and unfair. It is accordingly quashed.

The petition is allowed.
