This petition was filed seeking directions to the respondents to submit final report in FIR No. 1, dated 4th January, 2018 under Sections 409, 120-B IPC and Section 13(1)(d) read with Section 13(2) of the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988, registered at Police Station Vigilance Bureau, Jalandhar.

Notice of motion was issued, status report filed by the State. As per the status report, after investigation cancellation report was filed and accepted by the Court concerned. In view of status report filed, petitioner appearing in person seeks permission to withdraw the present petition with liberty to avail remedies for redressal of surviving grievance, if any.
