On the asking of court, Ms. Sudeepti Sharma, Addl. A.G. Punjab, who is present in court, accepts notice on behalf of the official respondent(s).

Petitioner is aggrieved by the transfer order dated 16.07.2018 vide which he has been transferred from Bhagta District Bathinda to Mukerian district Hoshiarpur. Grievance of the petitioner is that he has been transferred more than 100 kilometers despite the fact that he is handicapped. In terms of the policy, three options ought to have been taken from the petitioner before passing the transfer order. This court does not intend to examine the merits of the case. However, in case petitioner files a representation before the authority within two weeks from today, it shall consider the same.
