VERSUS
Harbhajan Singh and Others ....Respondents CORAM : HON'BLE MRS. JUSTICE ALKA SARIN Present :
Mr. Ashwani Talwar, Advocate for the appellant. Mr. R.K. Gautam, Advocate for respondent No.1. ALKA SARIN, J. (Oral) Learned counsel for the appellant has very fairly stated that the amount involved in the present case is only Rs.9000/- and that the same stands duly paid by the insurance company to the claimants. After a lapse of 24 years, it would be difficult to recover the amount from the employer even if the appeal is allowed and further the process of recovery would itself cost the insurance company much more than the amount to be recovered. In view of the above, learned counsel for the appellant states that he does not press the present appeal. However, the question of law be kept open.
Accordingly the present appeal is dismissed as not pressed. Question of law involved is kept open. Pending applications, if any, also stand disposed off.
