Rajan Gupta, J (Oral) Petitioner seeks regular bail in a case registered vide FIR No.77 dated 2.12.2013 under Sections 307, 323, 324, 148, 149 IPC at Police Station, Gardhiwal, District Hoshiarpur. He was summoned in exercise of power under Section 319 Cr.P.C. Petitioner is in custody since 4.5.2015. Prosecution has already examined 7 witnesses including the complainant. Trial may still take some time to conclude as 21 witnesses have been cited by the prosecution.
Keeping in view the period of incarceration and the fact that he has been summoned as additional accused and trial may still take some time to conclude, he is directed to be released on bail to the satisfaction of trial court.
