The only prayer made in the revision petition is to direct the Court of Additional District Judge, Chandigarh, to decide the pending civil appeal in a time bound manner.

After two years of the restricted functioning of the courts, on account of surge of Coronavirus infection, finally, the Courts have resumed their normal functioning. No doubt, the first appeal is pending in the First Appellate Court for the last seven years. However, this Bench does not have complete information about the pendency of the appeals before the Court below.

Keeping in view the aforesaid facts, the present revision petition is disposed of with the liberty to the petitioner to file an appropriate application before the First Appellate Court for expeditious disposal of the appeal, which shall be considered sympathetically.
