(Oral) Prayer in this petition is for grant of regular bail to the petitioner, in a case arising out of FIR No.05 dated 10.01.2019, registered at Police Station Mehtiana, District Hoshiarpur, who has been booked for having committed the offence punishable under Section 302/120-B IPC. Learned counsel for the petitioner at the very outset submits that the petitioner was living in the house of her parents and her father had died in October, 2019. The petitioner has two daughters and there is no one in the family of the petitioner to look after the children and they are staying with the grandmother.

In compliance of order dated 03.06.2020, learned State counsel has verified that the daughters of the petitioners are staying with the grandmother and there is no one in the family to look after the daughters of the petitioner. Further out of 17 witnesses, 09 had been examined.

Petitioner is in custody since 12.01.2019.

Keeping in view the fact that the trial is likely to take some time to conclude and the fact that the petitioner has to look after her two minor daughters, the present petition is allowed. Petitioner is ordered to be released on bail during pendency of the trial of the present case, subject to his furnishing bail bonds to the satisfaction of the Chief Judicial Magistrate/Duty Magistrate, Hoshiarpur.
