RAJESH BHARDWAJ, J. (ORAL) Matter has been taken up through video conferencing via Webex facility in the light of the Pandemic Covid-19 situation and as per instructions.

Instant petition has been filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. praying for issuance of direction to respondent Nos.2 and 3 to conduct fair and proper investigation in case FIR No.173, dated 06.11.2018, under Sections 406/498-A/354, 323 IPC, registered at Police Station Sadar, Sri Muktsar Sahib, District Muktsar Sahib.

By virtue of order dated 09.04.2021, the State was directed to file status report.

Today, learned State counsel, on instructions from ASI Gurjant Singh, submits that cancellation report has already been filed in the present case before the competent Court of jurisdiction. In view of the above, the present petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to raise his pleas before the Court of competent jurisdiction at an appropriate stage.
