* * * * Devi Ram moved the Labour Court seeking certain reliefs. The Labour Court in the facts of this case, directed payment of compensation in the sum of Rs.12,000/- only to the LRs of the deceased employee as the compensation remained lying deposited since 1983. This award was challenged by the widow of Devi Ram. Learned counsel for the petitioner has not put in appearance. Notice was issued to the widow of the workman, but could not be served and the notice was received back 'unserved' with the report incomplete/incorrect address. In the circumstances, the writ petition is ordered to be consigned to record with liberty to the petitioner to get it revived, if need be.
