The instant petition under Section 482 BNSS (corresponds to Section 438 Cr.P.C.) has been filed for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in cross case G.D. No.17 dated 17.08.2025, registered under Sections 118(2) and 3(5) BNS (corresponds to Sections 326 and 34 IPC) at Police Station Ghuman, District Batala in FIR No.144 dated 11.08.2025 registered under Sections 118(2), 118(1), 333, 115(2) BNS (corresponds to Sections 326, 324, 452, 323 IPC) at Police Station Ghuman, Tehsil and District Batala (Gurdaspur).

The Co-ordinate Bench of this Court vide order dated 27.02.2026, while issuing notice of motion, granted the concession of interim anticipatory bail to the petitioner, subject to his joining the investigation.

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that in pursuance to the order dated 27.02.2026, the petitioner has joined the investigation.

Learned State counsel does not controvert the said fact and further submits that custodial interrogation of the petitioner is not required in the present case.

In view of the above, the order dated 27.02.2026 is made absolute.

Accordingly, the present petition is disposed of. 7.
