Present petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, inter-alia, for issuance of a writ in the nature of certiorari quashing the advertisement No.1 of 2021 dated 05.03.2021 (P-4) vide which applications were called for filling up 585 posts of Junior Engineer (Civil) as the same was given with ulterior motive to give benefit to the fresh candidates.

Learned counsel for the parties are ad-idem that in view of the order of even date passed in CWP No.7850 of 2021 titled as 'Nikhil Goyal Vs. State of Punjab and another', nothing survives in the present writ petition and as such the same be disposed off. Ordered accordingly.
