SURINDER GUPTA, J.(Oral) This petition is for seeking protection of life and liberty of petitioners, who alleged to have married against the wishes of respondents No. 4 to 6, father and other relatives of petitioner No.2. Learned counsel for the petitioners has limited his prayer for taking appropriate action in accordance with law on the representation dated 06.07.2015 (Annexure P-5) made by the petitioners. It has been stated that both the petitioners are major. The date of birth of petitioner No.1-Sangeeta is 13.03.1983 as per copy of Secondary School Examination Certificate (Annexure P-2) and that of petitioner No.2-Sandeep Thakran is 18.12.1990 as per copy of Secondary School Examination Certificate (Annexure P-3). Petitioner No.1 after obtaining decree of divorce (Annexure P-4) from her earlier husband, has performed marriage with petitioner No.2 on 05.07.2015. Photographs of marriage are Annexure P-1. CRM-M-22168-2015 -2the petitioners, but without expressing any opinion on the validity of marriage of petitioners, this petition is disposed of with direction to respondent No.2-Senior Superintendent of Police, SAS Nagar Mohali to look into the representation dated 06.07.2015 (Annexure P-5) and take appropriate action in accordance with law, on receipt of certified copy of this order along with representation in his office. However, it is made clear that this order will have no effect on the validity of alleged marriage of the petitioners or on any other civil or criminal proceedings instituted against them.
