Rajan Gupta, J (Oral) Petitioners have filed this petition under section 482 Cr.P.C for protection of their life and liberty.

Counsel for the petitioners submits that petitioners have married against the wishes of their parents. They have been threatened by respondent Nos. 4 & 5. Thus, adequate protection be provided to them. Learned State counsel, on instructions from ASI-Ram Chander, submits that statements of the parents of boy have been recorded and they stated that they are no longer interested in threatening the petitioners. They do not intend to harass the petitioners. He further submits that representation of the petitioners shall be looked into and appropriate steps be taken if circumstances so warrant. In view of statement made by learned State counsel, no further direction is necessary.

Disposed of.
