**** JAISHREE THAKUR, J. (ORAL) CRM-20898-2018 This is an application that has been preferred for preponement of the date of hearing in the case which is listed for 25.07.2018. For the reasons mentioned in the application, the same is allowed and the matter is taken up for hearing today itself. CRM-M-23209-2018 This is a petition that has been filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. for issuance of a direction to respondent Nos. 2 to 4 not to harass/ implicate the petitioner and his family members in a false criminal case at the instance of respondent Nos. 5 to 7.

Learned counsel for the petitioner contends that the petitioner, who is the father of Kamalpreet Kaur, is being harassed by respondent Nos. 5 to 7. Both, the daughter of the petitioner and respondent No.5 left for New Zealand where a matrimonial dispute arose between them and respondent No.5 was deported from New Zealand. It is thereafter that the petitioner is being harassed for return of the amount of expenses incurred on the education of his daughter. In this regard, a representation dated 25.04.2017 has already been preferred, which is Annexure P-6 with this petition. Learned counsel for the petitioner would contend that he would be satisfied in case the said representation is decided expeditiously. Notice of motion.

Ms. Rajni Gupta, learned Sr. DAG, Punjab who is present in the Court, accepts notice on behalf of the State. Three copies of the petition be handed over to her by learned counsel for the petitioner during the course of the day failing which no action is called for. She submits that representation dated 25.04.2017 (Annexure P-6) will be decided within a period of six weeks.

Without going into the merits of the case, the instant petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.3 to decide representation dated 25.04.2017 (Annexure P-6), within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of the certified copy of this order and take necessary action in accordance with law.
