******* SURINDER GUPTA, J.(Oral) The present petition has been filed under Section 438 Code of Criminal Procedure for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in case FIR No. 12 dated 17.01.2016 registered for offences punishable under Sections 323, 324, 341, 148 read with Section 149 of Indian Penal Code (for short 'IPC'), at Police Station Jandiala Guru, Amritsar (Rural). Offence punishable under Section 326 IPC was added later on). Heard.
The petitioner has been attributed injuries, which were caused by kirpan and were declared grievous in nature. Keeping in view nature of injuries, I find no reason to extend the benefit of grant of anticipatory bail to petitioner, at this stage. Dismissed.
